Cherie Buckner-Webb |
An Idaho native, Cherie Buckner-Webb is a respected motivational speaker who also uses her voice to raise awareness about diversity, inclusion and human rights topics.
Cherie participates in a variety of community activities. A 2002 Epilepsy Foundation of Idaho — Idaho Women Making a Difference Award Recipient, her history of commitment and involvement in the community and devotion to human rights and diversity are well known in the valley.

Buckner-Webb was also the recipient of the Year 2000 Hewlett Packard Award for Distinguished Leadership in Human Rights. She donates countless hours to local organizations, serving on the Board of Directors of the Idaho Inclusiveness Coalition, the Idaho Commission on the Arts, the St. Paul Baptist Church Trustee Board and the Advisory Board of the Idaho Black History Museum. Cherie is a 2005 recipient of the Jefferson Award for Public Service.
In addition, she is an accomplished gospel, jazz and blues vocalist. Cherie has recorded with jazz great Gene Harris, recently released her debut solo CD, “By His Grace” and received the Award for Excellence in the Arts at the 2004 Governor’s Awards in the Arts Celebration.
Currently employed as the Global Employee Resource Group Program Manager with Hewlett Packard Company, Buckner-Webb has an extensive business background, including positions in marketing, aviation, timber, and e-commerce. Cherie is also an associate White Men as Full Diversity Partners, a culture change consulting firm that offers coaching, curriculum design, learning lab intensives and system wide change and has recently launched a personal coaching practice.
She received a B.S. in Management and Organization Leadership from George Fox University, and a Masters of Social Work from Northwest Nazarene University.
